I am currently enjoying my second pair of Bates DuraShocks. I ride my motorcycle 10,000 miles a year and work in EMS as well. These boots take a ton of abuse and have held up better than any other brand I've ever had. The soles are super tough and the boots are comfortable out of the box. I am always tempted to buy another pair just in case they discontinue them but I don't want a new pair of boots sitting in my closet for 4 years.

My last pair of Bates Durashocks lasted me six years of daily pavement pounding. Been looking around for a new pair and found a great deal here on Amazon. I actually paid less here than I did for my original pair. Iv'e only wore the new set once so far but they are comfortable and appear to be the same great quality I've come to expect from Bates.

these by far the best boots I have ever owned.I do a lot of truck driving and this is my second pair.very lightweight and durable yet comfortable.I love the zipper easy on and off.I recommend these to anyone looking for a great workboot.
